Luis Pérez-Urrestarazu, University of Sevilla, Spain

Luis Pérez-Urrestarazu is an Agricultural Engineer, and obtained his PhD in 2007 by the University of Córdoba. He teaches different courses related to hydraulics, irrigation and water management at the University of Seville (Spain). In the last 15 years, he has worked in three main lines of research: water resources management for irrigation, aquaponics and Urban Greening, particularly on living walls. He is the Director of the research group AGR-268 - Urban Greening and Biosystems Engineering since April 2012 and Dean of the School of Agricultural Engineering since October 2020.
