Dr. Ahmed Abdelfattah is a researcher at Graz University of technology (TU Graz) and a former postdoc at Stockholm University and Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria. He received his doctoral degree in 2016 from Palermo University, in Agro-forestry sciences. His research is focused on microbial ecology, pathology, and microbiome of plants. Dr. Abdelfattah is currently working on understanding the role of vertical transmission on assembly of the plant microbiome and the co-evolution of the plant microbiome along the human-mediated changes.
